Of all design periods/styles utilized by the modern art director, russian propaganda (you don’t see much Nazi appropriation) get’s the biggest work out. Here’s two that have popped up literally just today. Unicef’s Tap project & a trial outdoor campaign for Foodworks who are positioning themselves as The People’s Champion’.

The tap project is much better done, but at this point in time you’ve got to have a damn good reason to use Stalin’s creative suite.
