This is my argument against Facebook; it’s business model was tacked on after it’s original design (like twitter..) or like anything media-related, like a newspaper. We read it for the news (or to keep in touch with friends), and they make money by slicing in ads.
Google’s business model is completely intertwined with it’s product that we use, search.
